L.C. was born on February 11, 1950 in Wilkes County, NC to the late L.C. Church Sr. and Clara Church. He retired from United States Postal Service with 30 years of service. During his youth, he could be found on the track, drag racing. His retirement years allowed him to enjoy his love of golf, animals and chess.
L.C. will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Nina Church; son, Robert Church; daughter, April Talbert; his twin brother, Lee Roy Church; sisters, Phyllis Smith and Nora Wolf.
L.C. was a Vietnam veteran and will have military honors at his graveside service, Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury NC 28144,Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive guests on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 6 PM to 8 PM, Apex Funeral Home.
