Lindsay Cooper Anderson Hunter

Mr. Lindsay Cooper Anderson Hunter, 55, of Apex and Castle Hayne, NC, beloved husband of Kathleen (Gildea) Hunter passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer.

Lindsay, the son of the late George Hunter and Morag Hunter Ek, was born on October 30, 1967, in Kirkcaldy, Scotland.

Lindsay enjoyed a successful career in financial services at State Street Bank London and Boston, SEI Investments, and, most recently, was a Vice President at Deutsche Bank Global Technologies in Cary, NC. Lindsay had been a member of both the Triangle and Coastal Carolina Curling Clubs. He enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S. and the world with his wife, but Wilmington, NC always held a special place in his heart.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his sister Lisa Kerridge, brothers-in-law Brian (Martha), Bob (Betty), and Kevin Gildea, nephews James and Ewan Kerridge and Ryan and Steven Gildea, niece Allison Gildea, very special aunt Fiona (James) Haine, stepmother Jan Hunter, cousins Steven (Myra) and Graham (Susan) Knight, and his “good wee dog,” Pepe’.
