Louisa “Jeannie” Carden Crusen, 55 years old, passed away on January 15th, 2019 in the hospital, while surrounded by loved ones. Born in Germany, she was the daughter of Jean Ellmers Carden Pritchard and SGM Jerome Carden of the United States Army. During her childhood, she created and shared a majority of memories with her sister, Theresa Carden Pirkle. Jeannie shared 15 years of marriage with Christopher Lee Crusen, and during those years, gave life to her three daughters, Kelley Michele Crusen, Lea Marie Crusen, and Kayla Jeanette Crusen.
Jeannie graduated from Seventy-First High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina in 1982. She was a business manager for many years and worked for America Personal Injury Investigations as a data entry specialist. She lived in Apex, North Carolina. She was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church, and was devoted to her faith. During her free time, she loved to visit the beach, listen to the Rolling Stones, watch sports, and spend time with her family. She will be remembered and missed for her easy-going personality, sense of humor, and zeal for life.
A service will be held to celebrate Jeannie’s life on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 3:00 P.M. at Apex Funeral Home on 550 W. Williams Street in Apex, North Carolina. The family will receive friends and family from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. prior to the service. Flowers, donations, and condolences will be accepted at that time.
