

Lucille Kehoe died peacefully at home on March 11, 2022, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Lucille was born to Edward and Lucy Fagan of West New York, NJ, and she was the loving little sister to Edward Fagan Jr.
Lucille enjoyed many beautiful titles during her 95 years of life, including beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
After graduating Montclair College, Lucille began her teaching career in Bedminster, NJ, where she met her future sister-in-law responsible for setting Lucille up on a date with Joseph (Don) Kehoe, the love of her life, best friend, and husband of 65 years.
Lucille always wanted a big family, and they were blessed with 11 children, 9 girls and 2 boys. Lucille was born to be a mother, and she raised her children happily in Wayne, NJ. She taught her children the value of an education by going back to school to earn her Master’s Degree in Education.
Lucille and Don had amazing faith in God and family, and sharing this faith with their children and grandchildren brought them endless pride and joy. Lucille kept her family together through love and prayer. She leaves behind many wonderful memories of family reunions, trips, joy, laughter, and togetherness.
Lucille is survived by her 11 children and their spouses, 31 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in her name be made to St Andrews Catholic Church. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at St Andrews Catholic Church, 3008 Old Raleigh Road, Apex, NC at 11:00 am on Friday, April 8th, followed by a celebration of her life and legacy in the St Andrews reception hall.
