Malia Scott Winberry

Our precious little angel, Malia Scott Winberry, beloved daughter of Scott Winberry and Bianca Patel, of Willow Springs, went to be with our Lord on May 25, 2021. Malia smiled, blew kisses, and waved throughout her entire 11 months, bringing love and joy to hundreds of people that she met.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at 3:00PM at Apex United Methodist Church, 100 S Hughes St. Apex, NC 27502. Masks will be required for all attendees of Malia's service.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by parental grandparents, Jerry and Joette Winberry of Cary, NC; maternal grandparents, Dilip and Daxa Patel of Jacksonville, FL; aunts and uncles on Scott’s side, Ami and Bryan Pooley; Cousin Ashton Thomas Bissette; aunts and uncles on Bianca’s side, Dimple Patel of Jacksonville, FL, Andrew and Monica Bierl of Durham, NC and great-grand parents, great aunts and uncles, cousins and other relatives who loved Malia very much.

The families would like to thank Johnston County Emergency Medical Services for all incredible care they provided to Malia and the entire family. The family appreciates all the support and prayers extended to them during this time.
