Sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was a wonderful lady and my late husband Kenneth love her so much each morning when she was working @ Juff Enough for breakfast. He loves her desserts she brings in for her special customers.

"Escott", your mother was always so proud of you and Erik. You were so lucky to have each other. You were truly the man in her life. I am so glad I got to see her and Mrs. Mary with Mike at Mandina's not too long ago. I will never forget her charming personality and her spectacular accent! She was special to all of your "Georgetown" friends. Love to all of you, Lin and family

My heart and prayers are with all of you. Maria was a beautiful person. She taught me so much and I feel so blessed to have her as a friend. Maria always saw the bright side of life and had such deep faith. I will miss laughing with her, my sweet, darling friend. Clemmie (New Orleans)

To Maria's family.
We met Maria when she worked at the restaurant in Fuquay. She and I had many conversations about life in NOLA, as we had lived in the same neighborhood for a time but never met. She was a special lady, very kind, caring, considerate, thoughtful. We are glad to have had the honor of knowing her. May her love for you surround you. She was so very proud of her family.
