Martha Katherine Black Jenkins

Kathy was born April 15, 1954 to the late Daniel Russell Black and Josie Mae Stone Black. She was employed with the Wake County Public School System at Apex High School and later at NC State University.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Archie and Joe Black.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 20 years, Charles Edward Zorn; daughters, Tracie Melissa Chesney (David)and Nicole Jenkins Manning; three sisters, Elizabeth Alford, Carolyn Blancett and Tammy Pruitt; four brothers, Donald, Billy, Terry and Alvin Black; and four grandchildren, Alyssa, Michael, Savannah and Brooklynn.

A memorial service will be held 2pm Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, 2220 High House Rd, Cary, NC 27519. The family will receive friends 7-9pm Friday, March 9, 2018 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St, Apex, NC 27502.
