My Mom ( Pearl Lockeman) and May
were lifelong friends, May 93, my Mom 92.
When I moved my Mom to North Carolina to
Live with us 4 1/2 years ago, I had the pleasure to speak with her when she would call to talk to my Mom. There were days that I remember when my Mom was not up to talking, May and
I talked. She was always concerned on how my Mom was and that I was ok too.
She loved the fall, she always said it was her favorite time of the year. Though she missed the Chicago snow she often said.
May shared so many memories
She loved her Family!
My Mom would ask her what she was having for dinner .. she said it was a surprise.. she looked forward to dinners that Jim would make
her and 8pm ice cream.
I am going to miss her calls too...
God Bless you ..
Love, Diane

May & I grew up together in Chicago,
She was My Life Long Friend. Though we had not seen each in several years as our lives had changed, though our friendship always remained the same. I looked forward to her phone calls we talked once a week. She was always so encouraging when I wasn’t feeling
well. She would bring us up to date on her precious great granddaughter and that she was
feeling much better .
May loved to read and listen to music and kept up on all the news in the world.
I am truly going to miss my Dear Friend !
I know you will miss Your Mom, Grandma,
Great Grandma..
May God Bless You Always !
Love, Pearl

May drew this candle on my Christmas Letter ..
