Sherwood Franks, her loving husband of 71 years, along with her daughters; Dianne Bode, Gail Bridgers, Mary Rose Eason, and Darlene Smith, were at her bedside.
She was a caring, loving, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother of nine, great grandmother of eleven, and great great grandmother of two. All of whom she loved unconditionally.
Family and friends will be received from 1:00-1:30pm Sunday, November 19, at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St. Apex, NC 27502. Service starting at 1:30pm. Burial will follow the service at Raleigh Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Transitions Lifecare Hospice.
