Michael Henry Frawley

Michael Henry Frawley, 44, of Apex, NC, passed away on January 5, 2024 after a brief illness. Michael was born on May 20, 1979 to Henry and Molly (Bolster) Frawley in Spearfish, SD. He spent his childhood on the family ranch, working cattle and later bison. After Michael graduated from Spearfish High School, he went on to study Civil Engineering at Montana State University in Bozeman.

Michael started his career with Terracon Consultants as a Geotechnical Engineer. Nearly 20 years later, his final position was Assistant National Manager in Raleigh. He loved his work and colleagues, and strived for excellence everyday.

Throughout his life he maintained his love of golf and woodworking. He always found time to go swimming and cycling with his sons.

He is survived by his partner Jennifer, and two sons, Bennett and Connor. He was a superhero in his children’s eyes, and will be forever missed. We are so grateful to know of his love and love him back.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service in honor of Michael will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Apex Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Spearfish Community Foundation (https://www.sdcommunityfoundation.org/local-impact/community-foundations/spearfish)
