I was Michael's coworker. He was very kind, warm and giving to both, his patients and colleagues. He gave me a lot professional advise about caring for patients. I will miss him greatly, his smile and caring nature. I offer my condolences to the family at this time of grief.

Our family only knew Michael for a short period of time but we're lucky enough to have experienced his kindness and compassion for others. He shared meaningful wisdom and  only had good words to speak about everyone he met. He was such a great role model and father to his kids.  We pray his family finds peace knowing that Michael was such an amazing person that touched so many lives.

We were deeply saddened to hear of Michael’s passing.  Michael went from being my father’s Hospice nurse to quickly becoming part of our family.  He not only provided excellent care for him, but always made sure we as the caregivers were doing well too.  He was one of the kindest, most compassionate individuals we were blessed to have known him.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.  We hope good memories can help ease the pain of this tragic loss.

My thoughts are with Cathy, Katy, Jacob and the family at this time. Michael was a very dedicated family man with a caring soul. I will never forget our conversations about classic cars and his amazing recall to the details of those old cars. He was truly one of the good guys and will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Michael's passing. Your family was such a blessing to Jacob's soccer team for your support and kindness. I loved getting to know Michael and his profound optimism for me, Jacob and the team. I want you to know that I am available for Jacob, as soon as he is ready, to have someone to practice with for soccer or any other sport he decides to pursue. Just let me know and I will be there as much as needed, at Jacob's pace.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Michael's family with his passing.  Michael came by our house weekly to check on my wife Sharon who has severe dementia.  We thought the world of Michael, he was such a nice guy and a very caring person.  Michael had become a part of our family and we looked forward to his visits each week.  We will miss Michael and send our love and condolences to his family!

What can I say? Mike you were the man. One of my closest and best friends. I wish we could have spent more time together. I'm so glad we got together for dinner a few weeks ago and caught up. I can't believe you are gone. Way too soon for me and for your family. They say only the good die young and here is another perfect example of that.  You were always there for me when I needed you. I wish I could have been there for you more. Kathy if there is anything you need ever just let me know.  I will do everything I can to help. Mike I love you man and I will miss you till the end of my days.

Becky and I heard of your loss this afternoon. I met Michael several years ago. You and he were a fine couple. I know you're hurting ,  your family, and the people that knew  him.

Michael and I were co-workers.  First, at Raleigh Rehabilitation Center and finally at Heartland Hospice.   We became friends quickly, due to our shared love of nursing and patient care.   In all the years I knew Michael, I never saw him behave as less than a consummate professional.  He truly loved his patients and that love was returned thousandfold.  He was fair, kind, and just an all around decent person.  The world is a whole lot less bright without him in it.   His legacy will be to hug tight to the ones you love, because tomorrow is never promised.   To Kathy and the rest of the family, my heart breaks with yours.  You will all be in my prayers, now and always.
