Mildred "Millie" Clara (Ney) Fose

Millie was born on August 23, 1932 in Appleton, WI to the late Leonard and Theresa (Daisy) Ney. She was raised in Appleton and moved to Indianapolis with her husband in 1955. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed all creative pursuits. She was an artist, seamstress, writer, home chef, gardener, and traveler. Above all, she loved her family and her faith. Millie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church (Appleton) and later St. Pius X (Indianapolis).

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers George Ney and James Ney, sister Patricia de Berard, and sister-in-law Virginia Carew.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 67 years, John M. Fose; daughters, Pamela Leistensnider (George Leistensnider) and Jennifer Richey (David Richey Jr.); son Jeffrey Fose (Rhonda Fose); sister Rose Mary Green; and grandchildren Jill Veracco (Jason Veracco), Jeremy Singleton, Stephen Alexander (Taylor Alexander), Katherine Alexander, Kara Richey (Shubham Gupta), David Richey III (Amanda Richey), and Chelsea Alexander. Two great-grandchildren will be arriving soon.

Family will greet friends and guests on Monday, January 2, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Apex, NC with a funeral mass at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will follow at Wake Memorial Park, Cary, NC.
