He was a member of The Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem Chapter, the Cary Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, and Apex Masonic Lodge #584.
Oscar was survived by his daughter, Belinda Camp and husband, Ted, son, Brian Sears, grandchildren; Jeffrey Buzzerio and wife, Casey, Brandon Sears, and Brianna Sears. He was preceded in death by his wife,of 55 years, Donna Ann Howell Sears.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00, Thursday, May 17, 2018, Pleasant Plains Baptist, 1802 Old US Hwy 1, Apex, North Carolina 27502. The family will receive guest one hour prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Hwy 55, Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina.
