Pamela Smith

Pam was born on August 30, 1947 in Fresno, CA to the late Lawrence W. and Mary (Beals) Dasher. Pam spent most of her life in Bakersfield, California where she graduated from East High School and won the Betty Crocker Homemaker Award.

Pam attended Bakersfield Community College where she received her associates degree. Pamela spent numerous years serving others as a Social Worker at Kern County Department of Human Services.

Pam was a loving mother who put her two children first. But, her greatest joy in life came in 2004 when her first grandchild, Gavin Gonzalez, was born. Pam enjoyed her retirement years living in North Carolina with her daughter and grandsons. Pam enjoyed cooking and making sure that everyone was taken care of.

Pamela is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Morris Smith.

Pamela is survived by her daughters, Kelli Davis and husband John Davis, Courtney Smith-Gonzalez and husband Alberto Gonzalez, grandsons Gavin and Greyson Gonzalez and granddaughter Lydia Davis.
