Patricia Rose Green

Patty was part of a large family and loved being surrounded by them. She had a huge heart and embraced everyone around her. She grew up in Youngstown, OH and graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School in 1978. She later moved to Texas in 1981. After a few years there, she moved to North Carolina where she met and fell in love with her husband, Gary. They married on November 4, 1988. Patty had two children, Craig and Jennifer from a previous marriage and she later had one more son, Bryan. They lived in several North Carolina towns before residing in Apex, NC where she and her family have lived since 1995. She graduated from cosmetology school in 1988 and in later years worked as a hairstylist and pharmacy technician. Patty attended Calvary Chapel with her family and was also a volunteer there and loved working with the children. She was a devoted Mother and a loving Wife. Her family will truly miss her.

Patty is survived by her husband, Gary Green of Apex, NC; daughter, Jennifer Pascucci and her husband Robert Pascucci of Raleigh, NC; sons, Craig Duponty and his companion Lisa Miles of Apex, NC and Bryan Green of Apex, NC; mother, Anna Hafner of Boardman, OH; brothers, William Hafner and his wife Shirley of Hubbard, OH and Michael Hafner and his fiancé Denise Zaborsky of Boardman, OH; sisters, Peggy Meadors and her husband Charles of Poland, OH, Joan Borders and her husband Skip of Carrollton, TX, Susan Terrill and her husband Michael of Hiram, GA and Elaine Pearce and her husband William of Canfield, OH; mother in Law, Juanita Green of Roxboro, NC; two K-9 companions, Bronson and Dexter; nieces and nephews, William (Johna) Hafner, Jr of Denver, CO, Lisa (Thomas) Turner of Mason, OH, Stephen Hafner of Hubbard,OH, Vicki (companion, Brad Susany) Sobczak of Pittsburgh, PA, David (Amy) Sobczak of Poland, OH, Billy Borders of Carrollton, TX, Adam (Jessica Lance) Terrill of Hiram, GA, Julie (Joshua) Wade of Clemson, GA, Matthew (fiancé, Becca Daniel) Terrill of Hiram, GA, Tara (Travis) Hatmaker of New Middletown, OH, Megan Pearce of Canfield, OH and Jessica Hafner of Sarasota, Fl.

Patty is predeceased by her father, William J. Hafner; brothers, Stephen & Joseph Hafner; father in law, Eugene Green and brother in law, Neal Green.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11:00 am at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex. NC. Pastor Rodney Finch of Calvary Chapel will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. A Private Cremation Ceremony will take place at a later time.
