Paul Henry Britt Jr, 79 of Creedmoor, passed away on October 20, 2018 at Hillcrest in Durham while with his loved ones.

Paul was born August 18, 1939 in Durham, NC to the late Paul Hampton Britt and Virginia Britt. He was a hard working IBEW electrician for 29 years, and afterwards enjoyed his retirement in Creedmoor, NC with family and friends. He was an active member of South Granville Country Club and loved nothing more than golfing with the boys.

Paul is preceded in death by his sister, Betsy Jean Thompson and brother, Phillip Daniel Britt.

After 59 years of marriage, Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Barbara Britt, as well as his daughters, Deborah Robison (Wayne) and Virginia Britt; son, Andrew Britt (Natasha); brother, Lawrence Britt; grandchildren, Jennifer, Paul, Rachel, Grady and Kayleigh; and great-grandchildren, Wayne, Felicity and Relic.

Family will receive friends and guests at Apex Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
