Peter Pete Craig Smith

Peter C. Smith, 58, of Apex, died Saturday, March 23, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Peter was employed by IBM for 38 years where his hard work and dedication made him one of IBM’s elite. However his most valued job was being a DAD.

Peter was a devoted Dallas Cowboy Fan and loved a good game of Football and Basketball. He spent many years coaching his sons soccer teams and usually took them to the championship. He enjoyed collecting football cards and poker chips and hanging out with anyone who would talk about sports. If you knew Peter you knew that he would pick a Dallas cowboy t-shirt and basketball shorts over a suit and tie any day of the week.

Family, friends, and co-workers, all of which respected and loved Peter, will miss him tremendously because of his caring personality and big heart!

To walk and guide me through my life
