Rayford Wayne McClain

Wayne was born on June 5, 1938, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to the late Harmon and Kathleen McClain. He enjoyed sports, was an avid golfer, and loved traveling, music, family, working in the yard, and could always be counted on to share a good story.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Dennis McClain.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years, Eileen McClain; son Jeff McClain; daughter Kim McClain Estep; son-in-law Alan Estep; four grandchildren (Kaylee, Kris, Kaitie, and Nathan); three great-grandchildren (Ben, Ryan and Abby); and sister-in-law Marlene Friedman.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Cary, NC.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be donated to Christ the King Lutheran Church.
