Raymond Arthur Roller, 62, passed away on November 26, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully with family by his side. Ray grew up in Candor, NY and is the son of the late Arthur and Lydia Roller. He was drafted into the Army while in high school, and soon after his stint he found out he would become a father. And then again 20 years later. He was a proud and loving father whose spirit lives on in Rebecca and Jessica.
He had a life-long love affair with coffee, bacon, kielbasa and sauerkraut, mint chocolate chip ice cream, and German chocolate cake. Ray was witty, a bit of a prankster, had a quirky sense of humor... and his laugh was infectious. He enjoyed being with his daughters, his friends, Maggie his dog, riding his motorcycle, napping in his favorite recliner, listening to the Oldies and talking about the Good Ole Days. Ray lives on forever in the hearts and memories of those who knew and loved him and is sorely missed.
We remember you each and every day!
A Celebration of Ray's Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Apex Funeral Home.
Flowers are welcome; memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
