Richard was born December 28, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Joseph and Florence Eppolito. He was employed as a sargent with the New York State Supreme Court.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy Eppolito; daughters, Nicole Collins; and Jacqueline Murphy; son, Craig Eppolito and his wife, Caitlin; grandchildren, Cole Eppolito; and Trevor, Alyssa, and Cameron Collins.
A memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC 27502. The family will receive friends 10-11 AM prior to the service.
