Robert "Brad" Simmons

He was born in Meriden, Connecticut on August 15, 1970 to Robert E. Simmons and Beverly Roberts Simmons. He wholeheartedly loved his family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Simmons.

He is survived by his wife, Wendy; their children Gage and Piper, his father, Robert Simmons; 2 sisters, Jacquelyn Simmons and Karyn Knight and her husband, David; sister-in-law Tracey Atkinson-Notzold and her husband, Paul; nieces and nephews Taylor Knight, Reiley Stanley, and Beatrix and Smith Notzold.

Brad was a respected real estate agent in the triangle area for over 10 years and was actively involved in the Cary Chamber of Commerce as an Ambassador. Prior to moving to Apex, he spent 15 years in commercial real estate banking and was in textiles for 5 years prior to that.

He graduated from UNC Charlotte in 1992. He spoke fondly of the good times he had over the years with his fraternity brothers from Alpha Sigma Phi.

A life celebration will be held in Brad's honor at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a Go Fund Me page (https://gofund.me/9b08aa63) has been created to help with the family’s expenses and provide for Gage and Piper.
