Robert Edward Wright

Robert, known by everyone as Bob, was born on July 27, 1948, in New York City to the late, Edward and Beatrice Wright. Bob graduated from A.C. Reynolds High School in Asheville in 1966. After serving six years in the United States Air Force, he and Becky settled in Asheville to raise their family. He worked at Carolina Business Equipment for many years before switching careers and starting his own business, The HomePro. Many of his HomePro clients became friends during that time.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, John Wright.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Rebecca “Becky” Wright; daughters, Angela Padgett (Tim) and Melissa Wright; sister, Kathleen Johnson (Phillip); and grandchildren, Brandon Padgett, Hunter Wright, Joshua Padgett, Mackenzie Davies, and Amelia Padgett.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 25, from 1:00pm - 3:00pm (drop in), at Beverly Hills Baptist Church, 777 Tunnel Road, Asheville, NC 28805. In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions can be donated to Blood Cancer United (https://bloodcancerunited.org/) or the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org).
