Ronald Lynn Thompson

Ronald lived at home until he was 22 years old. At that time he went to live at the O’Berry Center in Goldsboro, N.C. (now called O’Berry Neuro Medical Center). He resided at O’Berry for 33 years.

Ronald was predeceased in death by his mother in 1988.

Surviving are his father, Vinson L. Thompson and step-mother Patsy Thompson; a sister Judy Cecchetti, brother John Thompson and wife Karen; two nephews Clayton Cecchetti and Sam Cecchetti, Niece Victoria Cecchetti, four step nephews; Jason DePlatchett, Steve Federowicz, Tim Federowicz, Bryan Federowicz; several aunts and numerous cousins.

The family would like to express our gratitude to the O’Berry staff for the exceptional care Ronald received through the years.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Apex Funeral Home with visitation at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow the service in Green Level Baptist Church Cemetery, Cary, NC.
