Dear Family of Rosalie,
I am one of the many Straight cousins with memories of my summers spent in Laings where I had wonderful adventures to me with Rosalie who was about 6 months younger than I was and Ramona who was 6 months older and often the little sister, LaVonne. We picked blackberries, got in the way at Aunt Lib’s house and chased after the little brothers which we all had. My brother and I especially loved threshing when all the family gathered. Rosalie was so good with the younger children and a good helper at all times. It was always good to see her at reunions and get to meet her family. My sympathy and prayers are with you all. My heart is heavy at your and our loss, but happy for her rest.

Rosalee was such a wonderful Christian woman. She made all the flowers for my wedding and kept all the groomsmen at her home over night. I think my two daughters went to a cookout at her home with my parents many years ago. My prayers are with the family.

My brother Emerson Hall and I Iva Lou Martie want to convey our sympathy to your family. We have fond memories of her from years ago. When we were at home mother and dad would take us out to the their house for visits. Also enjoyed visiting with her at our “Straight “ reunions. Love and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Dear Janes Family---I learned of Rosalee's death through Karen McHan.I have many warm memories of working together in projects with Stepping Stones for Ohio Valley University. Rosalee was chairperson for some very large dinners catered at the Canton Baptist Church to raise funds for support of OVU through the local Stepping Stones chapter. The Lord has received one of His best servants.

Dear Family of Rosalee,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at the passing of your dear Mom, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, and so much more. We got to know Rosalee very well at the Straight Reunion the Thompson siblings hosted in Amish Country Ohio. On Saturday she stayed with us at the fellowship room at the hotel to welcome late-comers. She was a joy to be with and we were blessed to have her all to ourselves for awhile. It was so special to hear her stories of growing up in Monroe County. We will never forget her warmth and quiet spirit. May God be with you all as you begin life without her. “Death takes the body, God takes the soul, our minds hold the memories, our hearts keep the love, our faith lets us know that we will meet again.” Quote from Kelly’s Treehouse.
All our love, Bart & Joyce Wiggins
