Mr. Seagroves was born April 30, 1920 to the late James and Annie Miles Seagroves. He was employed with Leggett Myers Tobacco Company, retiring with over 30 years of service. Mr. Seagroves was also a proud farmer and member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Seagroves and son, Roscoe Thomas Seagroves, Jr.
Mr. Seagroves is survived by his sons, Ronald Seagroves and wife, Greta; and Michael Seagroves and wife, Meribeth; sister, Mary Ann Malone; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 4-6pm Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams Street, Apex, NC 27502. A graveside service will be held 2pm Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery, 1288 Mt. Pisgah Church Road, Apex, NC 27523.
