I am very sad to learn of Rose's death. I was blessed to work with Rose years ago and admired her whole-hearted dedication to crime victims; she embodied justice & compassion.  Her good life must now blossom in Eternity though NC citizens have lost a public servant of the finest rose vintage. May her beloved husband and family feel the Lord's loving comfort in these sad days.

I worked with Rose several years ago in the DOJ and always enjoyed her quick smile and sense of humor.  She was a dedicated worker, loved by all, and often spoke of doing things for her nieces and nephews. I know you will miss her terribly. Rose's passing is certainly a shock to those of us who had the privilege of knowing her and working with her in the advocacy field. This is a tremendous loss to our community. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time.

Dear Ronny, I was so sad to hear this news.  Rose and I had recently spoken by phone.  It has been several years since we saw each other and we were planning lunch.  I am glad she is finally at peace.  May you be able to find peace in knowing she is where she has always wanted to be. Today our Beautiful Sister's Life is being celebrated for a life well lived - but cut too short. We became Sisters in our 20's and even though we lived on opposite sides of the US, we knew she was always just a phone call away. Her smile and sense of humor made us all happy to be in her presence. She was the glue that held our two families together. We are so grateful she and Ron took the time to always come and visit us here in California. The Good Lord must of needed a very "special angel" this time and so - He chose the very best one of us all!  We love you Rose . . . .

You will always live in our hearts and prayers.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

I first met Rose in 1998. She helped me and so many others. Her contributions to victims of crime live on and provide inspiration to others to do the same.

Ronnie, I am deeply saddened to learn of Rose's passing.  We had been friends for years, having worked together first in the DA's office and then seeing each other often after we joined different sections of the AG's Office. Rose was a genuine and good-hearted person who always had a kind word for everyone privileged enough to come into her path.  She persevered through so many health challenges with dignity and grace, and was an inspiration to us all.  We will miss her so much.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this most difficult of times.
