Ross McNeill Olive of Apex NC, passed into the presence of God at the age of 86. His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was his friend, his peace and comfort through the many years of his life. He lived his faith welcoming and loving all people and he proclaimed it by teaching many years at Bible Study Fellowship as well as church youth classes. Ross wholeheartedly loved his wife and family well and shared with them a zest for the natural living such as gardening, beekeeping, solar energy, camping and being a good steward of resources. His mind was smart, mechanical and inventive and it was paired with an encouraging, thankful and generous heart, even giving blood as often as they allowed. He was also known by his love of community, often giving his homegrown vegetables to others. He was fervently evangelistic, patriotic and he never forgot to be silly and have fun.
Ross was predeceased by his lovely wife, Nancy Mills Olive, his parents, Alton A. Olive, Lura McNeill Olive, his younger brother James (Jimmy) Olive, older brother Aaron Olive, sisters Mary Lou Bryant and Linda Wood.
Ross is survived by his son Lance (& Cheryl) Olive of Apex, two daughters, LaPage (& Bobby) Johnson of Raleigh, and Candace (& Miles) Manno of Tampa, FL; and his sister Katie Gilbert of Wilmington. He is also survived by six greatly adored grandchildren, Kerby, Caleb, Shelby, Tamara, Dylan, and Trevor, and seven great grandchildren, RJ, Mona, Eloise, Aviya, Titus, Odette, and Wyatt. He blessed and prayed for us all.
