Sandra Bernice (Reinhart) Brewer

Sandra was born on May 21, 1939 in Binghamton, NY to the late Roland and Esther Reinhart. She grew up in Binghamton and then moved to North Carolina, where she lived in Pittsboro, NC and attended Pittsboro Baptist church for many years and then moved to Apex where she lived with her daughter and family. She loved flowers and being outside doing yard work. She enjoyed baking and was very good at it. She was a very kind and affectionate person, who loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. She cherished animals and taking care of them. She loved shopping and enjoyed traveling with her sister. She cared very much for her family and adored her 3 grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Glenn Brewer, her 3 brothers and 2 sisters Ron Reinhart, Robert Reinhart, Lanny Reinhart, Alberta Reinhart and Dawn Watts.

She will lovingly be remembered by her daughter, Kelley Leathers and her husband Jerry Leathers; granddaughters, Sydney Leathers and Kendyl Leathers; grandson, Nicholas Leathers; 2 nephews, Jack and Kerry Watts; and 1 niece, Melinda Watts.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Sandra will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Apex Funeral Home. Family will receive friends and guests following the service with light refreshments.
