Scott Edward Barkes

Born in Alexandria, Virginia, Scott was the beloved son of the late Harold and Shirley Barkes. He built a life centered around love, family, and meaningful connections with those around him.

Scott is survived by his devoted wife, Gail Barkes; his loving daughter, Jordan Barkes; his son, Jared Barkes; and his brother, Richard Barkes. He was a proud father who found immense joy in his children, and he spoke of them often with love and admiration.

Scott had a deep appreciation for music, especially classic rock, which was often the soundtrack to his life. He also loved to travel, embracing new places and experiences whenever he could. Above all, he treasured time spent with his family and friends, who will remember him for his warmth, pride in his loved ones, and the genuine care he showed to everyone in his life.

His presence will be deeply missed, but the love he shared and the memories he created will live on in all who knew him.
