Shirley was born July 18, 1931 to the late Robert and Mary Elma Miles Lavon.
A memorial service will be held 2pm Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams Street, Apex, NC 27502. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
