Stanley K. Pietrzak

Stan worked for 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Most recently he moved to Apex, NC to fill the role of Institutional Account Specialist for ViiV Healthcare, a division of Glaxo Smith Kline in Research Triangle Park. He was a well-respected professional in every position he held.

Stan is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jane C., his daughter, Jennifer of New York, NY, his son, Luke of Manchester, CT, sister Patti Stalvey of Myrtle Beach, SC, and his brother, Jay Pietrzak of Santa Monica, CA.

Though Stan only lived in Apex for 1 year, he pursued an active role in the community. He served on the Peakfest Committee where he volunteered and was a parishioner of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Apex.

Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 11 AM at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Old Raleigh Road, Apex. Family will receive friends on Friday, February 11, 2011 from 6-8 PM at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams Street, Apex. Contributions in Stan's memory can be made to Catholic Relief Services or Food For the Poor.
