Steven Alan Greer

Steven was born March 16, 1978 in Chapel Hill, NC. He grew up in Apex, NC where he attended Apex High School.

Steven loved so many and was loved by so many more. He had a smile that would light up the room and one that you would never forget. He was a simple soul that loved nothing more than spending quality time with his friends and family hosting cookouts, playing golf, fishing, watching NASCAR (“Earnhardt”, of course!), the Cowboys or his beloved Tarheels. He was the type of brother, son, friend, or neighbor that would drop everything to lend a helping hand to others. His wonderful spirit, infectious smile, and loving nature to all will be permanently etched into our minds.

Steven was preceded in death by his father, Ira Ray Greer and beloved grandmother, Julie Day Greer.

Steven leaves behind his loving mother, Sheryl Hall Greer of Cary; sister, Michelle Greer Barillaro of Cary; brother, Joey Ray Greer of Durham; aunt, Leigh Flowers Hall; uncle, Lonnie Hall Jr.; nieces and nephew, Mary; Devin; Julie; Cole; Carly and numerous extended aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation will be held for family and friends on Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at the Apex Funeral Home.
