Timothy Ray Wrenn, 54 of Fuquay Varina, passed away on June 24, 2020 in Raleigh, NC.

Timothy was born on January 13, 1966 to Raymond and Joy Lee Wrenn in Raleigh, North Carolina. He grew up in Apex, NC helping his parents on their farm and "running the streets" (as he would say) of the triangle area. Tim loved baseball and was quite a little league player – he claimed that he would be famous one day. Tim was strong and fast; he could climb a tree faster than anyone. He loved to be outdoors and play games with his siblings. He was also an adamant protector of his sisters. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes and loved fast cars. Tim was a proud individual especially when he won a 4-H cooking contest with his yummy cornbread which landed him a spot in the newspaper. Tim was operating a tractor almost as soon as he could walk which helped him to begin his career working alongside his father, Raymond, at Wrenn Footing. Later, Tim was named co-owner in partnership with his father and R&T Footing was created. Tim and his father dug the foundations of many subdivisions throughout the area -- from Wake Forest to Southern Pines. His work around the area allowed him to become a well-known individual in the community and he loved seeing friendly faces anywhere he went. After business began to dwindle, Tim began a part-time role in grocery. His diverse skill set enabled him to excel in any role he pursued, allowing him to advance quickly. He progressed into a management role which he held for over 10 years. Tim was a passionate and hardworking individual that would do anything for his family. He adored his four children and enjoyed taking trips, laughing, and playing games with them as often as he could. You could also find Tim watching crime TV, collecting "knicknacks" such as coins and baseball cards, or watching NCSU sports. Tim loved listening to Rock n' Roll music, watching baseball, and being silly -- He will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Wrenn.

Survivors include his mother, Joy Lee Wrenn; children, Steven Wrenn, Kristina Wrenn, Nicholas Wrenn, and Rebekah Wrenn; brother, Russell Wrenn (Kim); sisters, Beverly Boland and Carrie O'Brien (John); and mother of his children, Alice Thomasson.

Family will receive friends and guests on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Apex Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow immediately at 6:00 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation to support individuals and families affected by kidney disease.
