Violet Overton Mills left this earth for a better place on Tuesday, March 1, 2011. She is the beloved mother of Danny and Steve E.; loving grandmother to Joey, Jason, Lori, Amy, Shannon; great grandmother to Naaman, Aaron, Vivian, Morgan, Blake, and Chace; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister Evelyn Dawson. She is predeceased by her husband, Joe Mills.
Violet was a devoted member of Apex Baptist Church, retired from Nationwide Insurance Regional Office after 35 years of service, and was a true example of unconditional love. She will be missed very much.
“Though her body was exhausted by time, her soul will be made whole forever in heaven”.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 12 Noon at Apex Baptist Church, 110 South Salem Street, Apex, NC 27502. Family will receive friends on Saturday at the church from 11 AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens.
