Eloise was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, John William "Jack" Currin and her beloved grandson Alex Martin, sisters Lorene West and Doris Russell, brothers James Clayton and Harold Clayton.
She is survived by her daughter Cathy Martin and husband Dan of Apex, NC; sister Joyce Pigg, grandson Zachary Martin, great- grandchildren Jackson Martin and Alex Martin, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was dearly loved by all.
Eloise and Jack were residents of Wilmington, N.C for over 50 years where they were members of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. There they established many lifetime friends and relationships. She worked for several years at Bank of America and volunteered at New Hanover Regional Hospital. She became a familiar face at the Cardiac Rehab Center where she would go often to work out while she was still able.
There will be no service at this time per Eloise's wishes. Memorial gifts may be made to The Food Bank of N.C.
