Virginia Carolyn Sellers, 82, of Cary died Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Mrs. Sellers was born on November 15, 1928 in Marion Co. SC to Marion Collins and Carrel Prevatte Collins. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Emmett Leonard Sellers.
Mrs. Sellers is survived by her son: Emmett L. Sellers, Jr and wife Debbie of Cary; daughters: Daphne S. Halderman and husband Charles “TY” of New Orleans, Patricia S. Duke and husband Jerry of Raleigh, and Betty Beljan of Raleigh. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and a brother.
The family will receive friends from 11 – 12 noon Friday, August 19, 2011 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St. Apex. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon in the Chapel of Apex Funeral Home. Burial will be in Apex Cemetery.
