Wayne Owen Finley, affectionately known as “WOF”, passed away on September 17, 2015 at his home. Born on March 24, 1964 in Oakland, CA; he was the son of the late Owen Elmer Finley, Jr. and Jackie McElvogue Finley.
Wayne was a machinist with Tipper Tie for many years and retired as an electrician with Golden Corral Corporation. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed metal detecting.
He is survived by his daughter: Samantha Ann Finley, of Cary; by his brother: Christopher Finley, Sr. and wife Patricia, of Cary; and by his nephew and nieces: Chris Finley, Jeanette Moore and husband Eric and Sara Finley Ibrahim.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 2 PM at Apex Cemetery. Flowers may be delivered to Apex Funeral Home by 12 Noon.
