I will always love you and remember the 4 wonderful years we spent together. You where and will always be my soulmate forever and always!

Bill was a special person. We were lucky to have him in our lives at Albany for our sophomore year through graduation. Not only was he our best player, he was an even better friend. Every fun and good moment during those years he was present. While I am very sad I am also very grateful to have known him. My sincere condolences to his family.  We will see him again. 

One of my first friends when I moved to NY. And remained friends throughout the years. We could go a long time without talking and then reconnect like there had been no time at all. I still can’t believe you are gone and we will not be able to talk again here on earth, but I look forward to catching up some day! Rest in peace my dear friend. 

Bill was the little dude that lived next to us on Maloney Drive.  I grew up in the house next to the Jarvela's.  Both Gayle and Bob were like my other parents.  Jen like a sister.  While Jen and I were closer in age,  and often off doing things in the neighborhood,  when Bill was old enough,  he came along as well.   He would ride trucks down the driveway with us .  He loved to make the sound of the Evel Knievel pump up motorcycle toy  that I got for Christmas one year.  Bill could here that thing from inside his house and come running.  He would imitate it exactly.  We would spend hours in the driveway launching that thing.  As Bill grew, he became more a part of the neighborhood crew.  Riding bikes,  playing in the woods you name it..  Even skating on the ponds in the orchard behind the houses.   Some really good times were had  sledding down the sled run that Bob would make next to the driveway for us.  Bill showed up one day with a ball and glove and wanted to play catch.  We did and it was a blast.  I chased the ball a lot as he learned.  He practiced throwing the ball at a old piece of plywood I had drawn a square on as a target to help with his aim.    The rest is history.     Bill was a kind, caring and warm and happy. .   I am grateful I got to know him when he was little, and follow him as he grew.   I loved hearing stories from his mother on his latest no hitter,  current pitching speed and championship games.  To be part of their family was a gift and honor.   Thank you Jarvelas and Buffings for allowing me to be part of your families over the years.   Bill will be missed.  The awesome memories of his childhood will continue to bring joy and happiness.  Wishing Kaitlyn, Jen, loved ones and friends peace and strength during this time of transition.  Bill will be  truly missed. 

Bill and I shared a student teaching classroom in graduate school.  We would car pool out to Hoosic Valley every day and talk about science, teaching, and baseball.  My humble condolences. 

Where do we begin? Billy and our son Mike were best friends growing up... He was like an adopted son to us and like a brother to Pete and Chris. Almost every weekend Bill would be at our house and every summer, he traveled with us to our camp on Lake Champlain Occasionally, Mike would travel with Bill and his Dad to go fishing on Lake Ontario. They were inseparable... Even after our son Mike died, and Bill got married and moved away, he would stop by our house when he was in the area. When his daughter Kaity was old enough to travel with him, he would bring her to our house on those visits. It was a delight to get to know her and watch her grow into such a wonderful and caring young woman. Sadly, over the last few years, those visits stopped... we lost touch with him and now he's gone... Billy, we loved you like a son and we will miss you forever. But, we know that Mike and Chris were there to meet you when you crossed over and that makes us smile.
