William was born December 23, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Francis and Elizabeth McWeeney Doyen. He was a computer technician with IBM retiring with over 30 years of service.
William was preceded in death by his brother, John Doyen.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Evelyn McCauley Doyen; daughters, Grace Doyen Danuck and her husband, William; and Alice Doyen; son, Kevin Doyen and his wife, Ashley; and five grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, William, Catherine and Benjamin.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11 am Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Saint Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3008 Old Raleigh Road, Apex, NC 27502. Burial will follow the service at Wake Chapel Memorial Gardens in Fuquay-Varina. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Monday, September 1, 2014 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams Street, Apex, NC 27502.
