Amparo Duarte passed away peacefully on May 15th, 2026 at the age of 95. Born on January 27th, 1931, she was known for being a dedicated wife and having an unconditional love for her family. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her beloved son, Ernest Jr; her two devoted daughters, Cindy Arzate and Denise Aranda. Amparo is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
Amparo's life was characterized by her deep love for all of her grandchildren and being a dedicated wife. She will be remembered for her enjoyment of her family gatherings, her passion for the L.A. Dodgers and her love of food.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 11th, 2026, at Sunset Hills Mortuary Chapel 24000 Waalew Rd. Apple Valley, CA 92307 from 11:00 AM-12:30 PM
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 11th, 2026 from 1:00 PM-1:30 PM at Sunset Hills Memorial Park 24000 Waalew Rd. Apple Valley, CA 92307.
