

Andy is survived by his wife of 53 years, Virginia Katherine Lewandowski, his daughters Susan Somersall and Sherri Phillips, his brothers Paul and Tom Cipich, five grandsons, one great granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews. His parents, Andrew and Tillie Cipich, preceded him in death.
Andy was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 25, 1935. He attended Archbishop Quigley Prep Seminary and received his Associates Degree from Pasadena City College. He started his long and varied career serving in the United States Air Force at a radar-monitoring site in Turkey. He worked as an electrical technician for JPL during the first Mars space missions. He left the technical fields to work in human resources for Bourns Inc. in Riverside, and ultimately opened his own advertising agency. His last day was spent on the first day of his newest job as a security guard. Andy enjoyed serving as a Scout master for Boy Scouts, golf and woodworking. He was an avid reader, and loved his daily Sudoku puzzle.
The family will receive visitors from 4:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Sunset Hills Memorial Park. Funeral services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Hesperia at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 2, 2015.
