Arnold was born in Miami, Arizona and grew up in Tucson, Arizona Arnold was the youngest of 4 children of Arnold and Esther Gallardo. After graduation from high school, Arnold joined the United States Navy where he served during the Vietnam War. After being discharged from the Navy he was hired by the Los Angeles County Fire Department where he retired as a engineer after 34yrs of service. Arnie ( as family and friends called him ) was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He leaves behind his wife JoAnn, Son's Joseph Gallardo, Robert Shaffer and Daughter Lynda Larkin, Brother Edward Gallardo, Sister's Virginia Coen and Olivia Riddle, 10 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandson, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and Grandson Logan Smith. All our lives will forever be impacted by the love he had for all of us. Rest in peace my Love.
