Betty Jane Hays Christy is survived by her daughter Susan (Mark) D. Fountain of Barstow, CA; grandsons James M. Fountain of Barstow, CA and Daniel J. Fountain of San Antonio, TX; granddaughter Amanda L. Fountain of Anaheim, CA; and great-grandson Jaden M. Fountain of Sevierville, TN.

Betty is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law Pansy Christy, Jean Christy, John and Sarah Daniel and Cal and Kathy Stack of North Carolina, Nancy Burdick of PA and Myrna Hays of MS. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Mr. Angus

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruby Hays, husband James Edgar Christy, Jr., sister Virginia Hays Abbott, brother Robert W. Hays and son Michael D. Christy.

Services to celebrate the life of Betty Christy are being held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary on July 6, 2018 starting at 5:00 PM.
