

Bill Roger Muzquiz was born to his parents Simon and Jeanne Muzquiz in San Bernardino California on Feb 15, 1936. Bill lived 81 years in California. Dad played football for and graduated from Chaffey High school in 1954. He even thought about playing professional football but went ahead and worked with his father and joined operating engineers in the early 1960’s. Dad had a vast career on many projects locally in heavy equipment. Various projects including work on the 110 freeway, the Rainbow hanging bridge near San Diego, Prado Damn, and the large pipeline water project near Rancho California to list only a very few. He retired from Operating engineers after 41 years. Bill was an amazing Christian who worked in his church and was a deacon there for more than 25 years.
In his retirement, he was an active member in the High Desert Ford and Mustang Club, coached football at Apple Valley High School while his granddaughter was attending, and loved going to horse races and Laughlin with Mary. Bill was a true California man, loved the outdoors, surfing, waterskiing, and Ford Mustangs which he had two; a ruby red ’65 and a ’90 convertible.
Bill is survived by his 3 siblings, sister Annette Muzquiz, and brothers Juan and Ricardo Muzquiz.
Bill is survived by his daughter Teri Jo Muzquiz, son David Block, granddaughter Blake Muzquiz,and is partner and companion Mary Moran.
