Ken and Bonnie purchased a home in Claremont in 1962 after which their son Larry and daughter Sandy were born. In 1965 Ken received a promotion in Victorville and they moved to Apple Valley where their daughter Kimberly was born. For the next 60 years, Bonnie was a homemaker. Around 1980 she also held a few temporary part-time jobs with Contel and Victorville school district.
