Brenda Diane Maltman

Brenda Diane was born on October 24, 1948 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of Clarence James and Margaret Louise (Simpkins) Stanford. She was raised and educated in California, graduating from high school in Long Beach. On April 23, 1966 she was married to Arden Alvin Maltman, Jr. in Long Beach, California.

Brenda later moved to Lewiston, Idaho before coming to La Grande, Oregon in 2016.

When she was younger and able she enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing. In later years she loved watching American Idol.

Brenda passed away Tuesday, May 13 in La Grande at the age of 76. She will be laid to rest with her husband at the Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Apple Valley, California.

Relatives who remain are her children, Mary Maltman and James "Jimmy" Maltman, both of La Grande, OR, Alvin "TJ" Maltman of Victorville, CA, Jeannie Zermeno of Las Vegas, NV, nine grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband in 2002 as well as her siblings.
