Claudia Maria Novoa Delacruz

On Tuesday, April 27, 2021, after years of health complications, the Lord called another angel to heaven. Claudia Maria Novoa Delacruz passed away in Las Vegas at age of 46. She was raised by her Salvadoran parents Mario and Ana Novoa.

Claudia, born in Los Angeles, grew up in Glendale, CA and Adelanto, CA, and later lived in Las Vegas, NV. During her formative years, Claudia participated in school and church choirs John Marshall Elementary and Wilson Jr. HS in Glendale CA, Christ the Good Shepard in Adelanto, Victor Valley High School, and Victor Valley College. Claudia acted in several school plays at Victor Valley HS. Claudia often sang karaoke at Viva Maria in Apple Valley, and always enjoyed entertaining family, parishioners, and the community, singing in Spanish and English. While singing was her passion, she enjoyed her profession in the medical field and worked for many years as a phlebotomist and medical assistant in the Victor Valley and St. Mary’s Hospital, as well as many clinics in the Las Vegas region. A highlight in her medical career was assisting singer Michael Jackson and was delighted to have met him.

Claudia left behind many great memories and was the light of many gatherings. She would soothe friends and family with her contagious laughter and unforgettable beautiful singing voice. One day we will all laugh and sing with Claudia once again in heaven.

Claudia is survived by; parents Mario & Ana Novoa, children Alexis & Natalie Orozco, grandchild Leon Roman Orozco; Siblings Arturo, Raquel, Mario J. Novoa, Dennis & Dany Novoa; Nephews Gabriel, Alex, Dennis Braeden II, Nieces Star, Jocelyn, McKenzie, Marisol; many cousins, uncles and aunts, and friends.

We now have another angel, watching and guiding us.

Rest in peace and love, we will miss you, Claudia.
