Cynthia Muir

peacefully after a short illness on 9/29/2021 at Desert Valley Hospital in Victorville, California.

She was a 1972 graduate of Rowland High School in Rowland Heights, California. She worked

for GTE California in customer service and repair routing/dispatch in Pomona and then West

Covina. A few years later she worked as a telephone operator for Contel of California in

Victorville, where she met her future husband, John. Cindy and John were happily married for

almost 44 years.

In addition to her husband, Cindy is survived by her brother Ralph Jr, her sisters Debbie and

Lisa, several nieces and nephews, and her mother, Leona. Cindy was preceded in death by her

parents, Ruth and Ralph Bennett.

Cindy will be remembered for her loving and caring nature. She was very generous and giving,

always putting the needs of others before her own. She had a special place in her heart for

children, animals, and any person going through hardship. She was a member of the VFW

Auxiliary. She fully supported our military veterans and first responders.

Cindy was always quick to smile and laugh. She enjoyed shopping trips and lunches with her

dear friends. At home, she enjoyed watching old, classic movies, especially westerns. She

loved working with her hands doing various crafts and collecting vintage and antique

kitchenware. Cindy dearly loved her three little dogs, Max, Rosco, and Kelly, and her cat,

Punkin Kitty.

Cindy will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
