Doris Burns born 10/6/1936 passed away on 1/12/2024. She was 87 years young and loved by so many. She has gone to Heaven to be with the love of her Life, Bob Burns, of 60 years of marriage. Doris leaves behind two children, Kirk Burns and LaShawn Bray, 5 Grandchildren; Brittany, Alisha, Jake, Brandi & Jordan, 12 Great Grandchildren, Kambria, Waylon, Rhett, Jait, Kade, Liam, Jett, Connor, Owen, Lincoln, Hendrix & Stone. She was an RN, Psychiatric Technician Instructor, and became a Lawyer at 50 years old. Such an accomplished woman, smart witty and loved by many. Doris used her nursing skills and volunteered for Hospice and her legal skills on the board of Youth accountability board. She supported her community of the high desert in so many ways. She was an amazing sister, aunt, wife, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
Services will be 2/5/24 10:00am – 12:30pm at Sunset Hills in Apple Valley, reception to follow.
