Duane Otto Neumann

Duane Otto Neumann was born on July 27,1941 in Steamboat Springs Co. They later moved to Riverside California where he graduated from Poly High in a 1960 and started his own business. In 1963. Is when he started working at Mira Loma thoroughbred Farms. He worked as a ranch hand up to a manager, At the time owned by Mr. Verne H. Winchell and later purchased by Farrell W. Jones and Valenti & Coelho.

He married the love of his life Linda Bailey in 1964 and raised his 3 girls. He continued managing Mira Loma Thoroughbred until he ask to be a managing partner in Clear View Farms in 1983. He moved the family to Apple Valley, CA in 1984 and continued in the Thoroughbred Race Horse breeding industry at Clear View Farms until he retired in 1998. He moved to Lucerne Valley CA and kept a few horses for a couple years.

He is survived by his Wife, Linda Neumann of 55 years. 3 daughters & 3 son in laws,

Sherri & John Brown, Kimberly & Randal Sprankle, Christa & Travis Scharnberg, 6 grandchildren, Robert Kimmen, Johnny Brown, Rebecca Scharnberg, Taylor Sprankle, Cody Sprankle, Lane Scharnberg, his sister Delores Tendall of Tx. And numerous nieces and nephews.

The celebration of life will be held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Apple Valley, CA on Friday July 26, 2019 at 10am. Directions will be given for the reception, following the service.
